Te Wai-Ora is a roopu of like-minded whānau, hapū, iwi, hapori and health providers united in the pursuit of the shared vision of realising paeora for whānau, hapū, iwi and hapori Māori through reducing alcohol related harm.
Established in 2022, Te Wai-Ora is a Te Whatu Ora | Health Promotion funded, kaupapa Māori, social movement. Te Waiora takes dynamic approach to addressing alcohol-related harm through education, advocacy and social development. Te Wai-Ora is set to run until 2028 and aims to expand and grow its reach.
Our partnership is made up of 5 rōpū from around Aotearoa. This includes, Hāpai Te Hauora, E Tipu E Rea, Te Rūnanga O Toa Rangatira, He Waka Tapu and Ngāti Hine Health Trust.
